For many years I have tried to find white shirts that are unique yet stylish, made from high quality fabric that is lightweight, in snowy-white 100% cotton, and not mass-produced! 

The only white shirts I could find that I really liked were by a French designer, but the prices were out of my league, at $395+  (and they were still made in China!).  My goal was to create beautiful white shirts that meet all the criteria I had set for myself, that I could sell at an affordable price. In developing my own range of shirts, I did not scrimp on any detail: the best fabrics from Italy and Japan, the most experienced luxury shirtmakers, insistence on french seams and fine stitching. Most recently I discovered the beauty and stunning quality of high-end Japanese fabrics, which I'm now incorporating into my range.

I now have the White Shirt Shop up and running and I am so pleased with the feedback from customers who had been searching as I have done for the 'perfect white shirt'.

Fabrics

Our shirts begin with the most luxurious fabrics available. Sourced from Italy and Japan, and hand selected based on the qualities of softness and wearability, brightness, fineness of yarn, durability and ease of laundering, these are fabrics that will last and last.

Design

We design shirts that, while classic, have a certain uniqueness. These shirts will attract attention for all the right reasons: they are designed to flatter.

Our team of designers and patternmakers work closely together to ensure that the inspired features are practical in terms of wear and fit. We will not include features that are difficult to iron or maintain. We want your shirts to look their best at all times.

Tailoring

Made in Australia by a team of expert shirtmakers, each shirt gets meticulous and individual attention.  This deliberate decision to avoid cheaper off-shore options means our shirts cost a lot more to make, but we have the peace of mind of knowing that we have not compromised in delivering handmade quality to our customers.

*While elastine or other kinds of stretch added to fabric can make it easier for one shirt to fit a wider range of people, I think it affects the purity of the shirt's whiteness and it seems to discolour faster over time. This is why I have avoided elastine in my collection.
